Delete your Bürgerportal account or just end a connection?
You choose which connections to keep. To end only the connection to one organisation, manage it in your Bürgerportal account. This does not delete your account.
If you want to delete your entire Bürgerportal account, first save all documents and information you will still need.
How to delete your Bürgerportal account
Save your documents
Save the documents and information you need outside your Bürgerportal account so you can still access them.
Open account management
Sign in to Bürgerportal and open account management. Select the option to delete your Bürgerportal account.
Read the information and confirm
Read the account deletion information carefully. Then follow the steps shown and confirm the deletion.
Your account and documents held by your organisation
Deleting your Bürgerportal account is separate from an organisation’s processing of documents you have already submitted. If you have questions about those documents, contact the relevant organisation directly.

Tell our support team that you want to delete your Bürgerportal account but can no longer access it. We will help you with the next steps. Do not send passwords or sign-in codes.
Will my Bürgerportal account be deleted if I uninstall the app?
Removing the app from your device does not delete your Bürgerportal account. To delete your account, open account management and follow the steps shown there.
